Srpski језикThe JVE 120 and JVE 150 are suitable for farms, equestrian properties, solar maintenance teams and vegetation management contractors that already use ATVs, UTVs or compact tractors. Adding a Tow Behind Flail Mower to that ATV means one operator, one machine, no separate tractor purchase. The dedicated rotor drive and adjustable deck can help improve mowing efficiency, particularly when working across rough or uneven ground, The 22 HP engine drives the rotor through a belt-drive system, while adjustable wheels help maintain the selected cutting height over uneven ground and the deck floats on adjustable wheels instead of the tractor's three-point hitch.
Two working widths share the same engine, drive, and rotor speed — Both models use the same 22 HP Loncin engine and 2160 rpm rotor speed, which can simplify spare-parts management for distributors and fleet operators. The JVE 120 weighs 240 kg with a 1200mm cut and loads 24 units into a 20GP; the JVE 150 weighs 270 kg with a 1500mm cut and loads 21 units. FOB pricing scales with the rotor length; The shared engine platform can also simplify spare-parts stocking across both models, which keeps your field-service kit to one box.

The deck design favors rough terrain over flat lawn work. Five use-cases account for most exports:
A pasture that has been topped only once a season grows a hard, stemmy mat by August. The flail rotor helps cut down dense grass and coarse vegetation to create a more even finish, breaking the seed heads before the cattle reject them. The JVE 150 is well suited to larger pasture areas where a wider cutting path can improve daily coverage at walking-pace for ground coverage, then shift to 2nd-gear ATV pace for thinner stands.
Utility contractors and county road crews tow the deck behind a side-by-side UTV because the adjustable side wheels let the deck dip below fence-wire height and lift out without scraping the hinge posts. Cutting a 1.2m swath in one pass replaces two passes with a handheld brushcutter.
Solar array rows leave 2.5m gaps. The 1500mm deck fits those gaps with 500mm clearance on either side, leaving the panel edges untouched. The rotor speed (2160 rpm) is high enough to mulch standing weeds rather than flatten them, which slows regrowth under the array.
Orchard managers run the Y-blade set in early spring to shred prunings left in the row middle, then swap to the hammer set in summer for the heavier weed flush. The deck height adjusts without tools via the rear-wheel pin.
Municipal and forestry buyers spec the hammer set with 48 blades (JVE 120) or 64 blades (JVE 150) to mulch woody saplings up to 40mm stem. Cutting height stays above 80mm to leave mineral-soil exposure for a defensible fire line.
Same engine, same rotor, same wheel system. The decision comes down to working width, transport footprint, and the hectare count you clear per shift.

Will the JVE 120 hook to a 400cc ATV?
The deck weighs 240 kg and adds rolling resistance from the rotor engagement. A 400cc utility ATV with low-range gearing handles flat pasture work. For hillside work, slopes above 15°, or 1500mm decks, step up to a 700cc UTV or a compact tractor.
