Srpski језикA lawnmower is a mechanical tool used for trimming lawns, vegetation, etc. It consists of a cutter head, engine, wheels, a walking mechanism, blades, a handle, and a control unit. The cutter head is mounted on the wheels, and the engine is mounted on the cutter head. The blades are mounted on the engine's output shaft. The high-speed rotation of the blades greatly increases the speed of mowing, saving workers' time and reducing manpower.
Lawn mowers, as an important component of modern garden machinery, are widely used in homes, public green spaces, and agriculture. With continuous technological advancements and evolving consumer demands, the lawn mower industry is undergoing a transformation from traditional manual and electric models to intelligent and automated ones. This is particularly true in Europe and America, where many families own detached houses with their own yards and lawns, resulting in a high demand for lawn mowers. Data shows that the global lawn mower market size was approximately US$9.252 billion last year, and is projected to grow to US$10.195 billion by 2030. North America and Europe, as developed regions, have high market shares due to the widespread adoption of home gardening and strong urban greening needs, especially in countries like the United States, Germany, and the United Kingdom, where demand remains consistently strong. Currently, the United States is the world's largest lawn mower market, accounting for approximately 48.88%.
In recent years, the Chinese lawn mower industry, with its continuously improving manufacturing capabilities and significant cost-effectiveness advantages, has demonstrated strong competitiveness in the international market and has become an important link in the global lawn mower supply chain. According to customs data, from January to May last year, China exported 13.6646 million lawnmowers, a year-on-year increase of 35.72%; the export value was 12.639 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 51.46%.
First, China's lawnmower industry is moving towards higher efficiency, mainly reflected in two aspects: power system optimization and improved operational efficiency. Its energy efficiency standards are gradually upgrading to higher efficiency levels such as IE4/IE5, significantly reducing energy consumption and increasing output power. Second, the new generation of products is equipped with an environmental perception system, achieving accurate obstacle recognition and boundary determination through multi-sensor fusion technology. Finally, it is gradually replacing traditional fuel-powered models, effectively reducing carbon emissions and noise pollution.
